Viviana Saraceno – Student Support Specialist

Viviana worked in Asheville City Schools in preschool and special education for many years. She has been consulting for TEACCH since 2008, as an autism specialist and has been at Rainbow since 2013. As a Student Support Advocate at Rainbow, Viviana fosters deep and meaningful relationships with her students and nurtures their growth and success in the classroom. She is highly trained in Orton Gillingham and multisensory education. She offers consistent support to teachers and students with designing modifications and interventions that encourage thriving for all.

Three teachers on staff all went through the same MA in Special Education program together at Western: Viviana, Ali Bancheire, and Susie Fahrer. Something wonderful was in the water at Western the year their cohort graduated! By the way, Vivina’s sister is the 4th – 8th grade Spanish teacher, Lisa Saraceno.
