Saturday was our annual Halloween Harvest Hoedown

Saturday was our annual Halloween Harvest Hoedown and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! Joy was evident all around our festivities... from face painting, to the wishing well, food vendors, musicians, and the haunted walk. We hold deep appreciation for our Parent Council, community volunteers, and our local business donors who all helped to make this event possible. Our kindergarten and fourth grade reading buddies took a field trip to the Botanical Gardens to spend the day immersed in nature. We love witnessing the bonds that these sweet classes are forming with one another - so sweet!

Our 4th graders concluded their Botany study with a learning celebration today! They spent the past few days working hard on presentations about plant parts, life cycles, pollination, germination, and more. Families were also treated to a sing-a-long and shared a plant-based meal with their students for lunch. These kids have learned so much and we can't wait to see what they learn next!
