It is our last week of summer camps and our Creative Crafts campers have learned to make woven friendship bracelets. What a fun way to spend a beautiful day with your friends! Do you remember making friendship bracelets when you were a kid?

Not only do we celebrate environmental sustainabil

Not only do we celebrate environmental sustainability in our work with students, but we also invite community organizations that align with our mission to host events on our campus.

Most recently Rainbow Community School hosted an event coordinated by Asheville FM on Sunday, July 20th titled: "Voices 3: Women for Climate and the Environment". It was a powerful and uplifting event centering some of the diverse opportunities and advocates in our local climate justice movement.

Equally celebratory was the opportunity to reconnect with alumni parent and event coordinator, Bob Hanna. It is always a joy to see him!

Each day our campers learn a new slime recipe and are exploring a variety of textures and add-ins. Today they made magnetic slime and you can tell by these joyful faces that it was a big hit!

Making memories in the mountains of Western North Carolina...

Today our Surf and Turf campers took a trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway to Graveyard Fields where they hiked, explored, and swam and jumped into the swimming hole at the lower falls. What an amazing way to cool off on a hot summer day!
