5th Grade Move-Up Ceremony! 🌈🌟

One of our very favorite traditions at Rainbow is a ceremony to honor our 5th grade students who will be moving up to Omega Middle School next year! In this special tradition, all of our elementary school students make a tunnel of love for the 5th graders to pass through on their way to the middle school campus. Once there, they are greeted by the current 6th, 7th and 8th graders who welcome them with good wishes and words of encouragement for their middle school journey.
As our 5th graders exit the elementary campus, they leave behind notes with intentions that they hope to pass on to those walking in their footsteps in the years to come....

This sweet and joyful tradition is a beautiful way to close out or 24-25 school year in anticipation of tonight's Graduation Ceremony at 6:00pm! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Sacred Ceremonies & Taco Parties! 🌈🌮🌹

Today our 1st and 8th Graders completed a very meaningful loop as they concluded the year with their Rose Ceremony. On the first day of school, the 1st grade students were given a rose by a special 8th grade buddy, along with words of encouragement and welcome as they began the 1st grade at Rainbow. Today, roles were reversed as the 1st graders offered the 8th students a rose and bid them farewell as they prepare to spread their wings and fly off to high school. Bittersweet and full of smiles and tears, this special ceremony is a longstanding tradition at Rainbow.

After the ceremony, our soon to be Alumni joined the rest of the middle school students for a lunchtime feast of tacos in the sunshine. 😃🌞🥳
