We are so grateful for our partnership with Sharon Hyman at In Joy Therapy and Yoga (@sharoninjoy)!

Sharon serves people of all ages and stages including kids, teens, and young adults. She coaches parents with all sorts of worries and concerns about their children including helping them navigate accessing supports, helping them with their own dis-regulated nervous systems, and feeling more centered about their family life. Using her holistic, collaborative, and practice approach, Sharon weaves well played prompts, awareness of dynamics with thoughtful interventions for healthier families.

To our Great Glee, we came upon our Kindergarten class engaging in the physical domain as an extension of their literacy work. In early childhood, play is the foundation of learning. It encourages diverse vocabulary, foundational mathematics concepts, and ensures that the child’s relationship to school fosters inquiry, engagement, joy, and purpose.
