Renee presented a Green Commuter Award to a third-grader who frequently rides her bicycle to school
Being Green really does make a difference, and at Rainbow, kids know it! Over a dozen students at Rainbow Mountain were awarded the “Green Commuter Award.” Each certificate says that this child “recognizes that we can help make the world a better place by commuting in an earth-friendly manner. Sometimes it isn’t as convenient to walk, ride bike, or car pool, but it’s more fun! Thank you for being a role model.” Students who are green commuters also received a packet of seeds from Sow True Seeds, so thanks to RMCS parent and owner of Sow True Seeds, Peter Waskievicz, for donating heirloom seed packets.
