Rainbow Community School is seeking a Summer Camp Director to support our K-8 Summer Camp program for the 2025-26 school year. The K-8 Summer Camp Director is responsible for the development of program content, marketing, budgeting, enrollment, hiring, and on-site supervision, care, and management of the camp staff, students, families, and program. Last week, area middle school students and familie

Last week, area middle school students and families attended the High School Expo to learn about high school options in the Asheville area. Representatives from nine local high schools offered five minute presentations highlighting what each school has to offer. The presentations were followed by an opportunity for families to visit informational tables hosted by the high schools to learn more and ask questions.

At the end of November, our 4th and 5th graders and their families gathered to learn about what Omega Middle School has to offer! Upper elementary students joined Omega Middle School students in class for interactive learning experiences, toured our middle school facilities, and joined lunchtime social groups facilitated by middle school students.

Students and their families got to ask questions and hear about Omega Middle School from the perspectives of our graduating 8th graders, teachers, and current middle school parents. We are so grateful for the leadership and community partnership our current middle school students and parents offered to our upcoming students and families as they look ahead to becoming middle schoolers themselves.
