RCS Curriculum & Professional Development Coordinator, West Willmore, is in Dallas, Texas this week as a participant in the 2015 Changing the Odds Conference.
This 4th annual Changing the Odds conference, is a unique and dynamic event that convenes the nation’s top thought leaders in education and mental health, all united by a commitment to help kids achieve their full potential. This year’s theme, “Chaos to Connection,” stresses the importance of safe relationships — the foundation of strong social emotional health — and how the attuned, connected parent-child relationship is where it all begins. West and other participants are exploring innovative solutions that help kids build and repair social emotional health creating a long-term path for success.
