Did you hear that our Executive Director's Blog, Kaleidoscope, has been transformed into a video podcast series?!

This series was created to give our community a closer look at the intentional work happening at Rainbow Community School and Omega Middle School. Through short videos and downloadable companion articles for deeper learning, we explore the ideas and practices that support students’ growth, independence, and love of learning. We’re excited to share these reflections as an invitation to learn more about our approach and engage in conversations within and beyond our community.

We are excited about our upcoming Spring Fling THI

We are excited about our upcoming Spring Fling THIS Saturday, April 25th from 10am-1pm. This spring fundraiser is near and dear to our hearts as it offers a plant sale from First Step Farm, a Community Craft Market, and features our Omega 6th grader's Social Entrepreneurship Businesses!

Sixth graders have been hard at work learning the ins and outs of creating products and building businesses that highlight and offer support to social causes that are important to them. Their work will be on display (and for sale!) at the Spring Fling, with part of their proceeds benefiting a non-profit connected to their business concepts.

The Community Craft Market also features the creative and entrepreneurial works of RCS staff, parents, and community members. Booths this year include delicious and nutritious dog treats from @botanicalbonesco, health and beauty products from @bisabotanicals, art, pottery, crafts, and more!

We are also pleased to announce that the @maiz_y_amor food truck will be positioned for food sales in our Haywood Road staff parking lot, adding to the good vibes of this event. You won't want to miss it!
