Every year Rainbow Mountain Children’s School turns into a school of the arts in the month of May. We call it Imagine!
Local artist are hired to work closely with a class to develop and create a project in their discipline whether it’s dance, ceramics, puppet making, painting, musical performance, drama or something else. Together the artist and the children share their ideas, collaborate, solve problems, rise to challenges (both sides), laugh and learn from each other. It’s a wonderful month and one we could not do with out the financial support of our sponsors or those of you who come out for our fun, adult, fundraising event SHINE!
This year SHINE! takes on a Mardi Gras theme with a masquerade party featuring a talent show, with prizes, a DJ, an auction and a raffle. While mask and costumes are optional, the laughter is not. Come join us Friday, Feburary 8th at Asheville Music Hall from 6:00 to 10:00. Just $10 and all proceeds fund the artist working with our students.
