Holly Fink – 6th Grade Assistant Teacher

Holly served as our Omega AmeriCorps volunteer and we are thrilled she has decided to join our staff in 2023. Service has always been a guiding principle in Holly’s life, and it is through service that she found Rainbow. Born and raised in Colorado, Holly attended Colorado State University where she eventually became president of Alpha Phi Omega, a national service fraternity. 

Holly believes in the power of giving back to your community, and after graduating in the very early days of the pandemic, she felt that calling back to service. She has spent the last two years as an AmeriCorps member. Her first year included traveling to seven southern states and working with eight nonprofits, gaining experience in food security, natural disaster relief, and holding space for those at their end of life. Her second AmeriCorps year brought her to Rainbow in 2022, where she supported the Omega 7/8 students and learned so much from the Rainbow staff. She is so excited to continue at Rainbow as the sixth grade assistant, where she hopes to continue to deepen her relationship with the educational journey. Holly believes in learning from her students and leading with compassion. In her free time she likes to knit, read, hike, and share home-cooked meals in community with others.
