A Child’s Message from the Heart

“From the mouth’s of babes…” What a POWERFUL speaker.  This girl reminds me of some of the young people who have graduated from Rainbow Mountain.

Third Grade Space Mission

Third graders culminate their astronomy unit with a Space Mission!  Several classes visited the third grade classroom and entered a space shuttle to take them on their travels through space. Their travels ended with a planet parade by the third graders.  Here is a video that shares part of the Kindergartners journey! RMCS Third Grade Space Mission Video

Global Peace Project Comes To Rainbow Mountain

The Children’s Global Peace Project has been at Rainbow Mountain this week training teachers and students with a peace curriculum. The program focuses on learning about and teaching cultural diversity and learning tools to help find our peaceful center.  The ultimate goal of the program is to gain understanding of three peace skills:  assessing peace within, being peaceful toward others, and living together peacefully.  Today, they worked with several classes guiding them through a peaceful mediation process to help students strengthen their peaceful communication skills. Many thanks to the Global Peace Project for all the great work they are doing in the world!
