Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Christine has lived in Asheville since 2019. She has worked in education for more than 16 years and enjoys creating learning experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, and connection. She believes that strong relationships are at the heart of a thriving classroom and loves helping students build confidence, take risks, and discover new interests. Christine loves learning and speaks Spanish, is learning French, and is fascinated by the perspective that different languages and cultures bring. She is currently working toward certification in structured literacy and dyslexia intervention.

Christine loves hiking, biking, traveling, and acquiring new houseplants. Much of her free time is spent exploring trails in the area with her husband and son, gardening, and reading.
